• Prevalence of Obesity, Diabetes, High blood pressure in the community
• MDs recommend patients exercise but…the community lacks a gym, parks, transportation to other communities with gyms, and lack of money for gym memberships

AYUDA Solution

• Established Exercise Classes, offering:
• Aerobics for adults (began in 1998; grant in 1999 to fund development of classes, setup, music, etc.)
• Karate – Aerobics for adults and children
• Ejercicios Seniors/Fabens, Clint y Elizario
• Yoga
• Aeorobics/Agua Dulce (County’s CommunityCenter)
• Paso del Norte Health Foundation
